What is your main concern at school?
Build a tiny unit of change for the little model figure using only candy.
Pay attention to the immediate space around the body.
Rebuild the candy unit in a new material and a new scale.
Turn the match box into an object that is
bigger than furniture and smaller than buildings.
Architectural synthesis objects based on the candy and match box models made by the students in the previous steps.
How big is it really?
Work together to construct 1:1 models from cardboard and tape.
Units constructed in multiplex. Built for disassembly and re-use. Examples 5.1 - 5.3.
5.1 One-person work unit. A minimal space to work, reflect and hide.
5.2 Magic box. Keeping your work safe. Movable container for tools and work in progress.
5.3 Foldable stairs. Somewhere to sit, discuss and present from. A movable space for assembly.
